Spiral Elevator

The spiral elevator serves to convey materials upwards by means of powerful three-dimensional vibration. According to its operation method, this elevator system is divided into three different types:

1. Forced Vibration Type: This is the most common type of spiral elevator. Two unbalance motors (vibration motors) are mounted in opposite directions on the drive base, and oscillations generated by the rotation of these vibration motors are forcibly delivered to the drive base. This type of spiral elevator is simple and easy to fabricate, but there are restrictions on size applicability because of limited motor dimensions and amplitude. In general, this operation type is applicable where the trough diameter is ∅1500 mm or less and when an amplitude of 15 mm or less is required. (Operating range: 2-15 mm in amplitude and 1800- 600 VPM in vibration frequency)

2. Exciter Type: This operation type is mainly applied when it is necessary to operate a large-size model especially in high-amplitude low-frequency domains. Adopt the exciter type when you have to handle such materials that require system operations at high amplitudes of 12-40 mm which cannot be formed by the forced-vibration type system with unbalance motors mounted on it (esp. viscous or rubber-like cushioning materials), or when it is needed to convey a large amount of material. (Operating range: 12-40 mm in amplitude and 800-350 VPM in vibration frequency)

3. Electromagnetic Resonance Type: This operation type is designed to generate vibrations using electromagnets and applied when low-amplitude high-frequency operations are needed. The type of system is used mainly for the transfer of small-size components or additives that require small-capacity precision operations.

   - Petrochemicals in powder or granular form

■ ENGINEERING PLASTICS PELLET
   - Applicable to the cooling and vertical transport of pellets in post-extrusion processes
    [PP, PE, ABS, EP etc. ]

■ FOOD, SNACK & SEASONING
    - Dry milk, cheese, candies, snacks, cereals, condiments, etc.
